Visit your nearest customer care center of your mobile operator with your NID or passport and SIM card.
Fill up a SIM registration form with your personal details and NID or passport number.
Provide a biometric fingerprint scan of your thumb or index finger.
Receive a confirmation SMS from your mobile operator that your SIM registration is successful.
You can also register your SIM card online through the websites of your mobile operators. You will need to upload a scanned copy of your NID or passport and provide a biometric verification through an app or a webcam.
What is the deadline for SIM registration?
The government has set a deadline for SIM registration for all mobile operators in Bangladesh. The deadline is different for different operators. Here are the deadlines for each operator:
