Asterix and Obelix depart on an adventure to complete twelve impossible tasks to prove to Caesar that they are as strong as the Gods. You'll roar with laughter as they outwit, outrun, and generally outrage the very people who are trying to prove them "only human".
As the rebel village of Gaul keeps defeating the Roman Empire's armies, the senate suggests they might be gods! (Of course it's the magic potion of their druid that actually makes them invincible). Julius Caesar decides to test the senate's hypothesis, challenging Asterix and Obelix to undertake a (literally) Herculean challenge: twelve 'impossible' tasks.
When Julius Cesar fears, that he will probably never be able to defeat the gaulic village of Asterix and his friends, he has the idea of offering the Gauls a deal: if they are able to solve twelve tasks that he selected, he will hand over the Roman empire to them.
